Take the mystery out of mapping: using free software to tell your spatial story.
EvaluATOD provides free evaluation resources and tools for professionals working to promote health and well-being through prevention efforts.
High-quality evaluation is an important part of these efforts. Evaluation will help you identify effective strategies, demonstrate why some approaches may not work, test new ways of addressing individual or community concerns, and review and modify strategies to increase their effectiveness.
This site features on-line training and information on all phases of evaluation from developing logic models, to ethical considerations, to techniques for effective stakeholder engagement, to collecting, interpreting, and presenting data. EvaluATOD provides resources that are relevant to professionals in any field, with a special emphasis on information specific to alcohol, tobacco, and other drug (ATOD) prevention efforts. There are also resources specifically for Minnesota Department of Human Services, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division (ADAD) initiatives, such as the ATOD Block Grant, the Strategic Prevention Framework State Incentive Grant (SPF SIG), and Partnerships for Success (PFS).
The evaluATOD website is a public service led by Wilder Research and developed in partnership with the Minnesota Department of Human Services, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Division.
